Meet the Volunteer Heroes of the Mountains

From the glacial lakes of Squamish to freezing polar nights in the mountains of Tromsø, search and rescue professionals dedicate hundreds of hours annually to enable others to keep enjoying these natural wonderlands.
The mountains are a place where we can truly feel alive, whether it involves silent contemplation or more adrenaline-fueled pastimes. And thanks to the volunteers who spend their free time training, preparing, and executing missions, we can trust that someone will do their best to help us if an accident happens.
Meet two search and rescue professionals who have made it their mission to help others in need:

With training comes pride. With the right gear comes protection. When all these ingredients blend in harmony, we can all get the most out of the mountains.
