The year of the tiger is set to be the fiercest year of competition yet. Winter athletes can finally descend upon the world stage to showcase their craft. Their journeys have been long; their stories inspire millions.
Success is ever more elusive. Whether it’s setbacks from injury, health, funding or other, every athlete has been subjected to the tough reality of elite competition. But they all share the same values: hard work, grit and determination. And regardless of the outcome, they each deserve to be celebrated.
The Celebration Collection weaves a journey through time. Each limited edition product is interlaced with touches of Norwegian and Chinese history:
- Delicately placed over the ornamental panelling are prints inspired by feng shui. Striving for balance and harmony has long been practiced in China.
- Move to 1877 and Helly Hansen was born. Just below rests the mountains where we, together with many winter athletes, were raised.
- Fast forward to a century and a half later and the tiger prepares to strike. Brave at heart, competitive in nature, the athletes have never been readier.
