Over 55,000 professionals across the globe trust Helly Hansen – including search and rescue partners working in mountainous environments, such as Norwegian People's Aid and Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue in Ireland.
In 2019, we embarked on a journey with Mountain Rescue England & Wales and Scottish Mountain Rescue to ultimately identify four teams that could partner with us in the development of professional grade gear for search and rescue teams.
Through the national bodies, we communicated our objectives to all the teams across England, Wales, and Scotland, giving the individual teams the opportunity to apply for a three-year partnership award with Helly Hansen. This partnership award would see their entire team kitted out in Helly Hansen clothing, protecting them no matter what the elements throw at them and alleviating them from having to raise the funds to pay for their kit.
The four mountain rescue teams we’ll be working with include, Assynt, Arrochar, North of Tyne, and Western Beacons.
